The Pen has run dry writing his name Beloved Muhammad in the heavens and the Throne Prophets and saints with his gift are sealed, Repentance of Adam, Paraclytos of Gospel revealed. From Maysarah (R.A) that he said: I said: O Prophet of Allah, when did you become a Prophet? He replied: “When Allah created the earth, turned to the heaven and fashioned it as seven heavens, created the Throne and wrote on the leg of the Throne: ‘Muhammad the Messenger of Allah is the Seal of the Prophets’.
Then Allah created the Paradise in which He made Adam and Eve dwell, wrote my name on its gates, tree-leaves, domes and tents at a time when Adam was in a midway phase between spirit and body. When Allah – Exalted is He – breathed life into him, he looked at the Throne and saw my name, whereupon Allah informed him that ‘He (PBUH) is the best of all your descendants.’
When Satan deceived them both, they repented and sought intercession to Allah through my name” Abd al-Razzāq (rah) narrates that Jābir (RA) said: ‘I said: O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you, tell me of the first thing Allah created before all things?’. He said: ‘O Jābir, the first thing Allah created was the light of your Prophet from His light, and that light remained lit in the midst of His Power for as long as He wished, and there was not, at that time, a Tablet or a Pen or a Paradise or a Fire or an angel or a heaven or an earth or a sun or a moon or a jinn or a man. And when Allah wished to create creation, he divided that Light into four parts and from the first He made the Pen, from the second the Tablet, from the third the Throne, and then he divided the fourth [part] into four [other] parts and from the first he created the bearers of the Throne, from the second the Chair (Kursī), from the third the rest of the angels.
Then He divided the fourth into four other parts and created from the first the heavens, and from the second the earth, and from the third the Paradise and the Fire, and then he divided the fourth into four parts and created from the first the light of the believers’ sight, and from the second the light of their hearts which is knowledge of Allah, and from the third the light of their inner harmony (‘Uns) which is the Tawhīd ‘There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, etc. ..” “Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet; O People who Believe! Send blessings and abundant salutations upon him.”Qur’an 33:56 “Know that you do not have [this perfection] and you do not have this constitution which belongs to Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and that no matter how much the Real discloses Himself to you in the mirror of your heart, your heart will only show you what is according to its own constitution and the form of its shape
So cling to faith and follow him! Place him before you like the mirror in which you see your form and the form of others.
If you do this, you will know that God must disclose Himself to Muhammad in his mirror.” – Ibn ‘Arabi, (may the Allah show mercy on him) Futuhat al-Makiyya, Shaykh Ahmad Tijani and the Tariqa Muhammadiyya (1735 – 1815) It is said that the Prophet, peace be upon him, instructed Ahmed Tijani (may Allah have mercy on him) to establish his own tariqa – the Tariqa Muhammadiyya: “You owe no favour to any of the Shaykhs of the path, for I am myself your medium and provider in every truth.
Abandon all that you have taken from all other tariqas and hold fast to this tariqa without seclusion (khalwa), or retirement from people (uzla), until you reach your promised maqam, and you are as you are, without hardship, difficulty, or strive, and abdicate all the saints.” “As for he who perseveres in the prayer on the Prophet, may Allah’s blessing and peace be upon him, even if he is attributed all the faults committed by all the inhabitants of the earth, while adding to them without end, from the creation of the world until its ending,
Allah – may He be praised and exalted – will forgive him these faults in the ocean of His forgiveness and grace (fadl)” Shaykh Ahmad Tijani, Jawahir (may the Allah show mercy on him), cited in Triaud, “La Tijaniyya, voie infaillible,” p. 180. Salat al-Fatir: “best way to send blessing on the Prophet, this prayer is “equivalent to the recitation of all prayers of glorification to God (tasbih) that have ever been said in the universe, all Sufi prayers or remembrance of God (dhikr), every invocation (du’a) long or short…” Jawahir, p. 57. “اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الفَاتِحِ لِمَا أُغْلِقَ والخَاتِمِ لِمَا سَبَقَ نَاصِرِ الحَقِّ بِالحَقِّ والهَادِي إِلَى صِرَاطِكَ المُسْتَقِيمِ وعَلَى آلِهِ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ ومِقْدَارِهِ العَظِيمِ” Allah-umma Salli ‘ala Sayyidina Mohammadin Al-Fati’hi limaa ughliqa Wal khatimi limaa sabaqa Naasiri-l-‘Haqqi bil-‘Haqqi Wal Hadi ilaa Siratiqa-l-Mustaqim Wa ‘ala aalihi ‘Haqqa Qadrihi wa Miqdaarihi-l-‘Adhim – “O Allah send benediction upon Sidna Mohammad the opening of what had been closed and the Seal of what had gone before and the helper of the Truth by the Truth and the guide to Your Straight Path,
Allah’s blessings be upon his Family, may (this prayer be) equal to his immense position and grandeur.”
