“Every son of Adam is a sinner, and the best of sinners are those who repent constantly” “Tell them: ‘My (God’s) Servants who have committed excesses against themselves, do not be in despair in the mercy of Allah – surely, Allah forgives all sins. Verily Allah is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful’” [Surah az-Zumar 39:53] by Motiur Rahman Sons and daughters of Adam, Each and every one of them Are sinners, and the best of them Are those who constantly repent. Say: ‘O My servants do not despair, you have transgressed against yourselves, lose hope not, for the mercy of your Lord extends to everyone, God is Ghafur ar-Raheem.
To deny His forgiveness is the greatest of sin, Root Kufr for its origin, Afuwan Ghafur, He is Ghafurun Ghaffar, Of the ninety-nine names, Sattar al-Jabbar. Abu Dharr quotes the Prophet, peace be upon him, as saying: “I certainly know the first man to be admitted into heaven and the last to leave hell. A man is brought forward on the Day of Judgment and (the angels) are ordered to show him his minor sins. His major ones are withheld from him. He will be told: ‘On this day you did so and so,’ and he admits that he did. He does not deny any, but he is worried about his major sins.
Then they are ordered: ‘Replace every sin he did with a good deed.’ He will then say: ‘I have committed further sins but I do not see them here.'” Abu Dharr says: “I saw God’s Messenger laughing heartily so as to see his molar teeth.” (Related by Muslim and Al-Tirmithi). The first word of the first ayat (verse) of the blessed Qur’an the Lord most High has revealed is “Al-hamdu lillahi rabbi-l AAalameen”, that is, Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds! The meaning of hamd stands for praise, gratitude, and thanks. It is mentioned that when the body of our father Adam, peace be upon him, was moulded out of potter’s clay,
“We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape” (15:26).
Allah attributes the creation of Adam directly to himself, “(Allah) said: “O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?”” (38:75) Hadith: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “Allah created Adam in his complete shape and form (directly), sixty cubits (about 30 meters) in height. When He created him, He said (to him), “Go and greet that group of angels sitting there, and listen what they will say in reply to you, for that will be your greeting and the greeting of your offspring.” Adam (went and) said, ‘As-Salamu alaikum (Peace be upon you).’ They replied, ‘As-Salamu-’Alaika wa Rahmatullah (Peace and Allah’s Mercy be on you) So they increased ‘Wa Rahmatullah’ The Prophet added ‘So whoever will enter Paradise, will be of the shape and form of Adam. Since then the creation of Adam’s (offspring) (i.e. stature of human beings is being diminished continuously) to the present time.” Volume 8, Book 74, Number 247 Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, “When one of you sneezes he should say: `Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah),’ and his brother or his companion should say to him: `Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah have mercy on you).’ When he says this he should reply: `Yahdikum-ullah wa yuslihu balakum (may Allah guide you and render sound your state of affairs).”[Al-Bukhari 879]
“When I breathe My spirit into him prostrate before him.” Allah breathed His spirit into Adam and when it reached his head Adam sneezed. The angels said: “Say all praise belongs to Allah.” Adam repeated: “All praise belongs to Allah.” Allah said to him: “Your Lord has granted you mercy.” When the spirit reached his eyes, Adam looked at the fruits of Paradise. When it reached his abdomen Adam felt an appetite for food. He jumped hurriedly before the spirit could reach his legs, so that he could eat from the fruits of Paradise. Allah, therefore, said: “Man is created of haste.” (Surah 21: 37) Say shahadah, be halal; Consume of the clean and lawful, Eat and drink, be merry Thy Lord made provisions for thee, Alkhabeesatu lil khabeeseena walkhabeesoona lil khabeethati, wat tayyibatu lit tayyibeena wat tayyiboona lit tayyibati, Pure one is for Purina And Angel for Angelina, Know that like are for likes Beyond this are heavy dislikes! Azzanee la yankihu illa zaniyatan aw mushrikatan Wazzaniyatu la yankihuha illa zanin aw mushrikun Wa hurrima zalika AAala al-mu’mineen to the Believers such a thing is forbidden! “So eat of the sustenance which Allah has provided for you, lawful and good; and be grateful for the favours of Allah, if it is He Whom ye serve.” (16:114) “O ye people! Eat of what is on earth, Lawful and good (halal and tayyib); and do not follow the footsteps of Satan, for he is to you an avowed enemy.
For he commands you what is evil and shameful, and that ye should say of God that of which ye have no knowledge.” (2:168 – 169) Say: “See ye what things Allah hath sent down to you for sustenance? Yet ye hold forbidden some things thereof and (some things) lawful.” Say: “Hath Allah indeed permitted you, or do ye invent (things) to attribute to Allah.” (10:59) “O you who believe! When believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them,
Allâh knows best as to their Faith, then if you ascertain that they are true believers, send them not back to the disbelievers, they are not lawful for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful for them. But give the disbelievers that which they have spent to them. And there will be no sin on you to marry them if you have paid their Mahr to them. Likewise hold not the disbelieving women as wives, and ask for that which you have spent and let them ask back for that which they have spent.
That is the Judgement of Allâh. He judges between you. And Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.” (60:10) On the authority of Abu Dharr : Some of the companions of the messenger of Allah said : “O Messenger of Allah, the affluent have made off with the rewards, they pray as we pray they fast as we fast, and they give away in charity the superfluity of their wealth.” He said: “Has not Allah made things for you to give away in charity ? Every tasbihah is a charity, every takbirah is a charity, every tahmidah is a charity, and every tahlilah is a charity, to enjoin a good action is a charity, to forbid an evil action is a charity, and in the sexual act of each of you there is a charity.”
They said: “O Messenger of Allah, when one of us fulfils his sexual desire will he have some reward for that?” He said: “Do you not think that were he to act upon it unlawfully he would be sinning ? Likewise, if he has acted upon it lawfully he will have a reward.” [Muslim] Ya ayyuha annasu antumu-l fuqarao ila Allahi Wallahu huwa-l ghaniyyu-l hameed! O Mankind!
